Supported Living
New Haven assist individuals in finding homes in the community that meet the likes and needs of the individual. New Haven understands having your own home in a community where you feel safe and can be a part of your neighborhood is a right everyone should have. New Haven's Supportive Living offers 24 hour staff and supports to help individuals grow, learn, and become as independent as possible. Helping to establish strong relationships and friendships in the community. Assisting individuals in learning independent living skills, like personal hygiene, shopping, and meal preparation just to name a few. New Haven and its staff understands building confidence and independents creates greater self-esteem. 

Supported Employment

New Haven understands employment creates stronger bonds in the community and increases self-esteem. New Haven has employment specialist to help individuals find employment in their community.  The owners of New Haven live in the area and have developed many relationships with local companies and have worked hard to show the benefits of employing individuals with disabilities. Staff working with New Haven's Supportive Employment receive specialized training to help individuals learn the specific skills needed to successfully meet employment needs and feel productive.

Personal Assistance

New Haven's Personal Assistant service provides staff for individuals living with their family or caregiver and do not needs 24 hour supports. Family or caregiver may need services due to their work schedule or other special needs. These services cover needs specific to the individual and their family/caregiver. Shopping, meal preparation, bathing, community participation, and household chores are just some of the supports our staff assist with.

Community Day Services

This service is in-place to see individuals are able to go into the community and work on improving social skills, establish relationships, and becoming an active member of their community. Staff work to find places, activities, and events supported individuals enjoy. Seeing those we serve have an active day going shopping, parks, events, and activities or hobbies they enjoy is a high priority.

Ancillary Services

If individuals supported need other services like Behavioral supports, Speech and hearing, Dietitian, or physical therapies we work with the State and clinicians to see these services are provided and plans are implemented.
